Dental Implants are artificial tooth roots which get surgically placed in the jawbone for supporting replacement of teeth or a bridge. They are made of titanium and other materials which are compatible with the human body. After the implant is placed in the jaw, it fuses with surrounding bone structure and provides a stable base for a bridge, dental crown or denture.
