With your permission, the App may access approximate or precise device location to:
- Show doctors, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare services near you
- Determine whether particular services are available in your area
- Support address selection or location-based booking features
- Improve the relevance of nearby-service results
You may deny or withdraw location permission through your device settings. Some location-based features may then be unavailable or less accurate.
1.4 Health and healthcare information
When you use healthcare-related features, we may collect:
- Appointment requests, dates, times, selected healthcare providers, and booking history
- Appointment cancellation, rescheduling, and status information
- Reasons for appointments or services
- Symptoms and health concerns you choose to provide
- Medical history, allergies, medications, and related health details
- Prescriptions, medical reports, laboratory reports, test results, medical images, and documents
- Health information relating to family members or dependents
- Information required to arrange laboratory tests, physiotherapy, home sample collection, or other requested healthcare services
- Information generated or received while facilitating a user-requested healthcare service

When you choose to upload content, we may collect:
- Profile photographs

- Laboratory-test bookings and home sample-collection requests
- physiotherapy requests, where available
- Selected provider, service, date, time, address, and booking status

- Messages or information voluntarily submitted through forms

Automatic appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates may be sent through push notification, email, SMS, WhatsApp message. These automated notices do not mean that the App reads the content of your personal email or SMS inbox.
1.8 Device, analytics, and technical information
The App and its integrated service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging registration tokens
- App screens viewed, features used, interactions, and usage events
- Crash logs, diagnostic information, and technical-error information
- Performance, reliability, network, and connectivity information
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the App and to improve functionality and reliability.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify, investigate, and resolve crashes and technical errors.
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver appointment, laboratory-test, report, account, service, and security notifications.

We may use information to:
- Create, verify, authenticate, secure, and manage accounts
- Verify email addresses and telephone numbers
- Maintain patient and family-member profiles
- Display relevant doctors, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare services
- Provide nearby-service and location-based functionality
- Arrange and manage doctor appointments
- Arrange laboratory tests, home sample collection, physiotherapy, and other requested services
- Process booking, rescheduling, cancellation, and status requests
- Store and display medical reports, prescriptions, laboratory results, and booking history
- Make relevant information available to a healthcare provider selected by the user
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, service updates, report notifications, and security alerts
- Process reviews, ratings, and feedback
- Identify crashes, diagnose technical problems, and improve reliability
- Detect fraud, impersonation, abuse, unauthorised access, and security incidents
- Enforce our terms and protect users, healthcare providers, and our services
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
We do not sell personal information or health information.
We do not use health information for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.
3. When we disclose information
We disclose information only when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3.1 Doctors and healthcare providers
When you request an appointment or healthcare service, relevant information may be disclosed to the doctor, clinic, laboratory, physiotherapist, diagnostic center, or other healthcare provider selected for the service.
Depending on the service, this may include:
- Name and contact information
- Patient or family-member information
- Appointment or booking details
- Address or service location
- Symptoms or reason for the appointment
- Medical reports, prescriptions, or laboratory information
- Other information submitted for the requested service
Healthcare providers may create and retain their own records while providing healthcare. They may have independent professional, legal, and privacy obligations relating to those records.
3.2 Family-member bookings
If you create a booking for a family member or dependent, the relevant information may be disclosed to the selected healthcare provider for the purpose of arranging and providing the requested service.
3.3 Service providers
We may use trusted service providers that process information on our behalf, including:
- Google Analytics for Firebase, for App-usage analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reporting and diagnostics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, for push notifications
- Email and SMS communication providers
- Authentication and OTP service providers
- Security, fraud-prevention, and technical-support providers
These providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide contracted services, subject to their applicable terms, privacy practices, and safeguards.
3.4 Legal, safety, and regulatory purposes
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process
- Protect the rights, safety, or property of users, healthcare providers, Entrepot Media, or others

3.5 Business transfers
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of business assets. Where applicable, the receiving organisation will be required to handle the information subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
4. Device permissions
Depending on the features you use, the App may request the following permissions.
4.1 Location
Used to show nearby healthcare providers, support location-based booking, and determine service availability.
4.2 Camera
Used when you choose to capture a profile photograph, prescription, medical report, diagnostic document, or other supported content.
4.3 Photos, media, and files
Used when you choose to select and upload photographs, prescriptions, reports, or documents.
4.4 Notifications
Used to deliver appointment, laboratory-test, report, account, service, and security updates.
Permissions can be controlled through your device settings. Withdrawing a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
5. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information we process. These safeguards may include:
- Authentication and access controls
- Restricted access to production systems
- Encryption of information during transmission
- Secure storage and infrastructure controls
- Logging and security monitoring
- Measures intended to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction
No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your device, login information, and access to your account.
6. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the App and requested services
- Maintain account, booking, and healthcare-service records
- Protect users and the App
- Prevent fraud and investigate security incidents
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Establish or defend legal claims
- Meet applicable healthcare, accounting, tax, regulatory, and legal obligations
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it is processed.
When information is no longer required, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it in accordance with our applicable procedures.
Some information may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire or are securely overwritten.
Healthcare providers may independently retain medical or service records that they are legally or professionally required to maintain. Requests concerning records independently controlled by a healthcare provider may need to be directed to that provider.
7. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your account through the deletion option available in the App:

We may verify your identity before processing a deletion request to prevent unauthorized deletion of account and health information.
Following verification, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise personal information associated with the account, including eligible:
- Profile information
- Family-member information
- Location information
- Uploaded medical documents
- Booking and service information
- Notification tokens
- Account identifiers
Deletion may not include information that must be retained for:
- Applicable legal or regulatory obligations
- Healthcare-record requirements
- Fraud prevention and security investigations
- Resolving disputes
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims
Any information retained after deletion will be restricted from unrelated use and deleted or anonymised when the applicable retention requirement expires.
Merely deactivating an account is not treated as completion of a verified account-deletion request.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Review and update profile information
- Manage family-member information
- Control notifications through the App or device settings
- Delete uploaded documents where the App provides that option
- Request access to personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of eligible personal information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Submit a privacy complaint or enquiry

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, protect your account, and locate the relevant records.
9. Children and family-member profiles
The App is intended for account holders aged 18 years or older.
The App is not designed for minors to create or independently manage accounts.
An adult account holder may add a minor as a family member or dependent only if the adult is:
- The minor's parent
- The minor's legal guardian
- Otherwise legally authorized to provide and manage the minor's information

10. Medical and emergency notice
LocalDoctors Patient is a technology platform that facilitates access to doctors, laboratories, clinics, and other healthcare-service providers.
Entrepot Media does not itself provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Medical advice, diagnoses, prescriptions, tests, and treatment decisions are provided by the relevant healthcare professional or service provider.
The App is not intended for medical emergencies. In an emergency, contact the applicable emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
The App should not be used as a substitute for emergency care or an in-person medical examination when one is required.
11. Third-party destinations and services
At your direction, the App may open third-party:
- Websites
- Maps
- Telephone dialers
- Messaging applications
- Device share sheets
- Other external services
Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third party's own terms and privacy practices. Review the relevant third-party policy before providing information.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
- App features change
- Our data-processing practices change
- New service providers are introduced
- Applicable legal or regulatory requirements change
- Google Play requirements change
We will publish the revised Privacy Policy with an updated "Last updated" date.
Where required, we may also provide additional notice through the App, by email, or through another appropriate method.
